Mic-Mad
Young Tycoons was founded in 2015 by Mic-Mad, and Lostman with the vision to create high-quality music that could be distributed to the masses. Diverse in sound, the record label produces music incorporating sounds of neo-soul, hip-hop, dance-hall, and R&B. In addition to being a record label, the company also specializes in content creation, animation, and film/TV production.
Previously before creating Young Tycoons, Mic-Mad started in the industry as an artist and grew up in Detroit in the church around gospel music attending with his grandmother and grandfather who was the Pastor of Greater Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to having a bachelors degree from University of Memphis in Broadcast and Electronic Media with a minor in Japanese, Mic-Mad also holds two Master degrees from Full Sail University in Business Administration and Entertainment (graduated 2012 as valedictorian) and Creative Writing (graduated 2014). Armed with these tools he continues to expand and further recruit talent for the Young Tycoons company.
Mic-Mad executive produces the short films as well as Sorbet, Mango Season and upcoming album The Arrangement for Biz Levin. Young Tycoons will also be introducing Tycoon Tots, which is an apparel line focused on children that will include an animated series & toys.
